WILL YOU HELP US CHANGE THE WORLD ONE SOCIAL VENTURE AT A TIME?
One important mission for the Avalanche Ocean Racing Team is to continue to help, aid, assist, where ever needed, primarily indigenous people, new friends, all over the world!
Our present goal is to use our platform to bring awareness to the Comcaac also know as the Seri of indigenous people living in the northern area of the Sea of Cortez. The global Covid-19 pandemic has hit hardest in marginalized communities around the world and this is also true in their region. We have approached a group of professors at Prescott College, AZ who have already been working with the Comcaac's. This year their Center strives to fund 15 community projects to relieve economic and ecological pressure and help to restore hope through collective action. The Crew and I aboard the Avalanche are donating our time, effort, and resources to visit these indigenous and help their community. With your help and your kind donations Avalanche Adventures and Prescott College will change the lives of every individual of the Comcaac People.
In future sailing explorations, we'll be identifying additional indigenous people all over the world who could use a leg up from our band of American (and one French) sailing adventurers! Please stay tuned for pictures, videos, and stories about our new friends, the Comcaac People!
Thank you so much "Friends of Avalanche!" Please wish the brave crew good luck?
